The James Oneil Scholarship

The James Oneil Scholarship was established by James Oneil, a friend of the College.

Although not a Hamilton alumnus, James Oneil had close ties to William M. Bristol, Jr., Class of 1917, and William M. Bristol, III, Class of 1943. He established this scholarship to honor his friendship with the Bristol family. Mr. Oneil served as president of the Hillside Bank in Elizabeth, New Jersey, before becoming vice president of the National Sate Bank.
