Event Description

Help participants recognize and understand the cultural importance, innovation, and anthropology of salsa music and dancing as a tool for building identity, community and social meaning among immigrants to build greater resonance and identification with the music.In the dance lesson, we will cover the basic steps, turns, rhythm, introduction to lead vs. follower steps, and ways to identify the Salsa-on-1 count.
