• Communications Office writer Evan Robinson ’23 recently spoke with Koboul E. Mansour, the new director of the Days-Massolo Center, about her career and vision for the future. Below are some excerpts from their conversation.

  • On Sunday, June 25, the New York City Pride Parade took place on the streets of Manhattan, celebrating sexuality and advocating for social and political change. Among the hundreds of thousands of attendees were 32 Hamilton students on a trip organized by the Days-Massolo Center (DMC) and Gender and Sexuality Union, whose planning and funding made this opportunity possible for the second year in a row.

  • At the end of an hour-long conversation about politics, activism, and change, Angela Davis faced one last question: What brings you joy?

  • Hamilton College’s C. Christine Johnson Voices of Color Lecture Series will present “An Evening with Angela Davis,” on Thursday, Feb. 23, at 6:30 p.m. in Wellin Hall in Schambach Center on campus. The event is free and open to the public.

  • After a year like no other, La Vanguardia recognized a need to remember, reconnect, and keep moving forward. That’s why the students of the Latinx organization are focusing this year’s Latinx Heritage Month celebration on three essential cultural elements for many Latinx communities: Recuerdos (memories), raíces (roots), and renacimiento (rebirth).

  • Colorful artwork, fresh food, and a lively conversation with a renowned champion for same-sex marriage were among the highlights of Hamilton’s first Pride Month celebration sponsored by the Days-Massolo Center (DMC).

  • The Days-Massolo Center (DMC) will celebrate its history and 10-year anniversary throughout the 2021-22 academic year. Students, faculty, staff, and alumni will collaborate on a celebration that will pay tribute to DMC’s founders while examining the progress and future for the Center. The DMC began as a student-led Social Justice Initiative and has evolved into a cultural and equity center with a new student-generated mission, vision, and future intentional work.
