September 18, 2025

Do you value queer-centered spaces that uplift and unite the campus? Then you belong in Hamilton’s Gender and Sexuality Union! GSU is about building community and increasing visibility for LGBTQIA+ students. From celebrating different identities to thought-provoking discussions and speaker panels, GSU creates a safe space where identity is explored and uplifted. Vice President and Multicultural Fellow Kamya Malhotra ‘28 explained that this semester, GSU is focusing on collaboration with other student groups to strengthen its impact on campus.
You won’t want to miss their upcoming events: Disorientation Week with BLSU (September 12th), a guest speaker on September 22nd, and an annual National Coming Out Day event on October 10th. The GSU community additionally looks forward to more informal social events – Zoe Chamberlain ‘27 can’t wait for baking and movie nights! Malhotra defined this semester as one of engagement, as the GSU increases its campus presence and activity. She enthusiastically explained, “We are going to be much more active this semester!” Whether you’re here to connect, learn, or just vibe, GSU is ready to welcome you! Come be a part of this celebration of life and love.
