Assistant Professor of Geosciences Catherine Beck is hosting a conference this weekend, April 20 – 22, titled Drilling Deeper for Connections between Environmental Change and Evolution that will address rates of paleoenvironmental change and their impact on hominin evolution.

Hamilton College received a plaque from Steinway and Sons designating the College as an "All-Steinway School" on April 14. The late Sam Pellman, the James L. Ferguson Professor of Music, diligently worked toward this status for approximately 17 years, and it was due to his efforts that Hamilton met the criteria for this distinction last summer.
