Yuxuan Xu ’26 has been named a recipient of the prestigious Barry Goldwater Scholarship, a national award that supports students intending to pursue research careers in the sciences, mathematics, and engineering. For Xu, the recognition wasn’t just a validation of his work — it was a meaningful milestone after years of dedicated effort and strong mentorship at Hamilton.

Catherine Ryczek '21 has been named a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar for the 2019-20 academic year. She is among 496 undergraduate sophomores and juniors from across the U.S. to receive the Goldwater, the premier national undergraduate award in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences and engineering.

Elisabeth MacColl ’16 has been named a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar for the 2014-15 academic year. She is among 283 scholars from across the U.S. to receive the Goldwater, the premier national undergraduate award in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences and engineering.

Kimberly Bogardus ’14 has been named a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar for the 2013-14 academic year. She is among 271 scholars from across the U.S. to receive the Goldwater, the premier national undergraduate award in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences and engineering.

A Hamilton student who chooses to remain anonymous has been named a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar for the 2012-13 academic year. This student is among 282 undergraduate sophomores and juniors to be awarded scholarships for the 2012–2013 academic year and is the 16th Hamilton student to receive the Goldwater since 2002.  The award is considered the premier national undergraduate award in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences and engineering.

Connor Brown ’12 and Julia Litzky ’12 have been named Barry M. Goldwater Scholars for the 2011-12 academic year. They are among 275 scholars from across the U.S. to receive the Goldwater, the premier national undergraduate award in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences and engineering.

Hamilton students are having an impressive year in being named the recipients of national fellowships and scholarships. Among the awards are the Thomas J. Watson Fellowship, Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship, Fulbright grants and NSF Graduate Research Fellowships.

Phillip Milner '10 has been named a Barry M. Goldwater Scholar for the 2009-10 academic year. Milner is among 278 scholars from across the U.S. to receive the Goldwater, the premier national undergraduate award in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences and engineering.
