  • Walk through the List Building on a Wednesday night, and you might hear a group of students discussing telephone poles, bollards, road signs, and the position of the sun in the sky. These students are not working on homework for an urban planning class. They are studying up on strategies for the game Geoguessr.

  • Between resume building, networking, and internships, most economics students are busy enough just trying to break into the industry. But some are also trying to change it—even while helping themselves and their peers find their footing in the fast-paced finance world.

  • Communications Office writer Evan Robinson ’23 recently spoke with Ariel Adams, Hamilton’s new director of student activities, who previously held similar roles at SUNY Potsdam and the College of Mount Saint Vincent. The two discussed Adams’ career path and her thoughts on starting out at Hamilton. Below are excerpts from their conversation.

  • Student writer and Untitled@Large theatre club member Alyssa Samuels ’25 shares her experiences producing the Suddenly the Musical, which debuted at Hamilton this spring. The Events Barn stage lights glowed brightly on April 27, illuminating the shapes of actors moving to the music and smiles from the audience surrounding them. Suddenly the Musical, an Australian show, was performed for the first time without its original cast at Hamilton. Produced by the student group Untitled@Large, the show was special not only for premiere status, but also because every step of its process signified a chance for student growth and accomplishment.

  • Applause rumbled as the Tolles Pavilion shook. My vision readjusted past the blazing bright lights as I scanned the crowd. Joyful eyes and smiles. Raised arms and cheers. I don’t remember breathing in those moments, but I remember what I felt. I was in a state of pure wonderment as I fixed the microphone back to the stand.

  • Since relaunching in 2021, the Pottery Club has become one the largest clubs at Hamilton with more than 200 members. Each week the five club leaders, Sophie Crehan ’24, Alya MacDonald ’25, Izabo Ramos ’25, Eva Pearlman ’25, and Julian Jacobs ’24, accompany nine fellow members to the Kirkland Art Center (KAC) in Clinton where they take part in ceramic wheel throwing.

  • From Women in Finance and Aquaponics, to Board Games and Badminton, more than 150 clubs and organizations were represented at the annual Club Fair on Sept. 2 on Dunham Green. Watch the video to see who was there!

  • After an almost four-hour, early-morning bus ride, members of the Shenandoah-Kirkland Initiative (SKI) were glad to arrive at the Akwesasne International Powwow earlier this month. This was their second time attending the annual powwow, which takes place at the A`nowara`ko:wa Arena on the Akwesasne (Mohawk) reservation in Ontario.
