  • Hogwarts@Hamilton, a time honored campus tradition, is back in full force just in time for Halloween. The annual production involves over 60 students and Sarah Zeiberg '19 sat down with two members of the executive board to talk about the process that leads up to the original hour-long comedy show every year.

  • It’s no secret that Hamilton students tend to keep busy, balancing extracurricular activities and academic work. Many have found a good way to let off some steam is through various manners of performing. Rehearsal rooms and performance spaces around campus are filled into the wee hours of the morning as students rehearse singing, dancing and other performances. In celebration of these talented student performers, we have compiled a brief round-up of the various performance arts groups on the Hill.

  • Flying brooms, flourishing wands and conjuring of various spells were seen throughout Benedict Hall this past weekend as more than 60 students participated in the 16th annual “Hogwarts at Hamilton” performances on Oct. 21 and Oct. 22. These shows, featuring both family-friendly and adult versions, functioned as fundraisers for the Kirkland Library as well as a way for youngsters, students and the Hamilton community to enjoy the October spirit.

  • Bundy Dining Hall was turned into the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry on Oct. 23 and 24 as the 8th annual Hogwarts at Hamilton welcomed muggles and their families for tours. Around 50 Hamilton students took on roles of characters in the popular Harry Potter books and improvised scenes from the J.K. Rowling series.

The $400 million campaign marked the most ambitious fundraising initiative in the College's history.
