Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy Douglas Edwards recently published a paper in the international journal Synthese. “Truth as a Relational Property” is part of a special issue on the topic “Truth: Concept Meets Property.”
In his paper, Edwards investigates the claim that truth is a relational property. He examines two separate ideas about truth – that truth is a relational property, and that truth is an extrinsic property. He explores the ideas in detail, considering what would make either of them true.
