Ellen Doernberg '13, Ashley Sutton '13 and Arielle Berti '13 presented a poster titled “Fixated on rejection: Attentional blindness following socially rejecting faces in people with defensive self-esteem” from research they conducted with Borton in 2011.

In 2012 Susannah Parkin '13, Beril Esen '13 and José Mendez '14 worked with Borton on a project titled “Defensive self-esteem and vigilance for self-threatening information,”which was also the topic of a poster.
