John McEnroe, the John and Anne Fischer Professor of Fine Art, recently presented a lecture at the 12th International Congress of Cretan Studies in Irakleion, Crete. He discussed the work he and Matt Buell of Concordia University in Montreal are doing in the Bronze Age town of Gournia, Crete.
This year McEnroe is serving as the Elizabeth A. Whitehead Professor at the American School of of Classical Studies in Athens.
