As one example, Gellatly recently paired luxury fashion house Louis Vuitton with contemporary artists Lady Pink, Lee Quiñones, and the Estate of Rammellzee to create a series of limited-edition LV trainer sneakers. The collaboration, forged in partnership with his longtime friend Virgil Abloh, was featured at an exhibition in Milan where visitors were treated to a live painting session, an oversized sneaker overlaid with 4D image-mapping, and a short film about the process.
“The thing that I enjoy most about my career is the part that is not about me; it’s what I get to share with others,” Gellatly said. “It’s the human experience.”

At Hamilton, Gellatly studied English and played three sports, including soccer, for which he earned recognition as a scholar-athlete All-American. He also hosted a WHCL show and served on SGA and the Judicial Board. He emphasized the support he received from professors, such as Tina Hall (English/creative writing) and Lisa Trivedi (history), as well as from soccer coach Perry Nizzi. With guidance from the Career Center, he learned the importance of preparedness and representing yourself in the best possible way for job interviews.
Gellatly’s current work includes a variety of projects for Nike and EA Sports surrounding the recent soccer World Cup. His agency also recently signed some new talent, such as LA-based contemporary artist Lauren Halsey, and he will be working on related opportunities with the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles. In between all of this, he is also an adjunct professor at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture.
In terms of his journey from Hamilton to where he is now, Gellatly said, “It’s funny, wearing Nike soccer cleats while playing for Hamilton and playing EA the video game [formerly FIFA] in dorm rooms in college, and now I’m working on both of those things during the World Cup as part of my career. I think that’s pretty cool.”
