Associate Professor of Literature Pavitra Sundar's coedited volume, Thinking with an Accent, was featured in a Korean radio documentary "Good English, Bad English, Weird English: A Special Report on English Discrimination."
Sundar and her fellow editor, Pooja Rangan (Amherst),were interviewed for the program, which aired on Busan English Broadcasting on October 31. The editorial team also published a themed playlist, titled "Accent as Expertise, Perception, and Desire." The themed playlist is an initiative of the Centre for Screen Cultures at the University of St. Andrews. In their contribution, Sundar et al. discuss a range of media texts that illustrate and extend the insights of their volume Thinking with an Accent.
Sundar and several of the book's contributors also contributed to CaMP Anthropology, a blog featuring recently published books in emerging fields.
