Event Description

Come hear the students provide a summary of the Summer 2026 Vietnam Program, an interdisciplinary program on human rights, peace studies, and conflict resolution, which took place from June 2nd through June 20th.  Led by Professor Justin Clark (Philosophy), along with a team of eleven Hamilton students, the team travelled to Vietnam to study the conflict and its historical context from the Vietnamese perspective, starting in Ho Chi Minh City, took a boat through the Mekong Delta, flew north to Danang, traveled by bus to Hoi An and Hue in central Vietnam, then transferred to Hanoi in the north, which gave access to the mountains of Sapa, and the peaceful waters of Ha Long Bay. All are Welcome! Lunch will be provided from Pho Vietnam. RSVP here.
