  • When Hamilton community members recently gathered in the Kennedy Auditorium to hear John Werner ’92 talk about augmented reality, they quickly realized that this wouldn’t be a typical lecture. Werner interacted with the audience after each section of his presentation, soliciting comments and “a-ha moments” in order to get a sense of the individuals in the auditorium. He also brought his augmented reality device to demo and show students after the talk, which was the highlight for many.

  • The cover of the Feb. 29 issue of Forbes magazine features a photograph of Legendary CEO, alumnus Thomas Tull ’92, with the headline “Reinventing the Blockbuster,” referencing the publication’s feature article. “Box Office Billionaire: How Legendary’s Thomas Tull Used Comics, China and a Secret Formula to Remake Hollywood” details Tull’s intricate negotiation of his impending sale of Legendary Entertainment.

  • George Mack ’92, managing director of the Barclays Global Restructuring and Finance Group, recently hosted students from the Hamilton Program in New York City to talk about his experiences in the finance industry as well as encourage some debate about current political and financial issues.

  • In late July, John Werner ’92 hosted the 15th annual Boston Posse dinner celebration to meet the 10 Boston Posse Scholars who make up part of the incoming freshmen class. The event took place at the MIT Media Lab in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
