The Hamilton Performing Arts Classical Connections Series continues Sunday, Nov. 18, at 3 p.m. with the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra in Wellin Hall at the Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts. Conducted by Daniel Hege, the SSO will perform Brahms's "Symphony No. 3" and Respighi's "Pines of Rome." The program will also include a premiere of Syracuse composer Andrew Waggoner and "Stretched on the Beauty: Concerto for 4 Cellos and Orchestra."

Hamilton College Performing Arts, as part of the Mohawk Valley Dance Partnership with fellow members Munson-Williams-Proctor Arts Institute (MWPAI) and the Central New York Community Arts Council's Arts in Education Institute, will present Battleworks Dance Company in a premiere of "Cadances" on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 8 p.m. at Wellin Hall in the Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts.

The Hamilton College Performing Arts continues the Contemporary Voices and Visions series when three-time Grammy-nominated Cuban composer and pianist Omar Sosa brings his unique style of Afro-Cuban jazz to the College on Friday, Oct. 26, at 8 p.m., at Wellin Hall in the Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts.

The Hamilton College Performing Arts partners with Hamilton’s Diversity and Social Justice Project and the Department of Theater to open the Contemporary Voices and Visions Series with selections from Anna Deavere Smith’s play Let Me Down Easy on Friday, Sept. 7, at 7:30 p.m. at Wellin Hall in the Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts. Let Me Down Easy — a play about the resilience and fragility of the human body — is the latest installment in Smith's ongoing series of one woman shows, On The Road: A Search For American Character.
