  • The New York City Program had the opportunity to visit the headquarters of media giant Bloomberg on Dec. 11 and were hosted by Hamilton alumnus Scott Havens ’95 who is the company’s global head of digital.

  • Students participating in the New York City Program volunteered at the Bowery Mission on Dec. 2, and got the opportunity to assist in serving food to hundreds of needy New Yorkers. The Bowery staff was very welcoming and appreciative of the group’s assistance.

  • Participants in Hamilton’s fall 2017 New York City Program recently had the opportunity to experience a docent-led tour through one of the world’s most celebrated art collections, The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

  • Students in the Program in New York City recently attended Amateur Night at the Apollo Theatre in Harlem and the show did not disappoint the first-time Apollo Theatre goers. The experience was instantly engaging as it showcased aspiring entertainers from all walks of life and the crowd was the one deciding their fate. At Amateur Night, the audience votes for who will become the next Apollo Theatre legend based on the loudness of their cheers (or boos).

  • Students in Hamilton’s fall 2017 New York City Program had another opportunity to spend time away from their desks and delve deeper into the city they live and work in when they visited the financial superpower Citigroup.

  • Students participating in the fall 2017 New York City Program attended the penultimate performance of the New York Philharmonic’s Star Wars Series (The Force Awakens) on October 6. This captivating production was an indelible experience that enriched the senses of many first-time symphony goers
