The fifth edition of Industrial Organization: Theory and Practice, co-authored by Professor of Economics Betsy Jensen, was recently published by Routledge.

Assistant Professor of History Celeste Day Moore recently received a summer stipend from the National Endowment for the Humanities for a project about the rise of African-American music as a sign of power and protest after World War II.

Leo Rayhill ’49 hosted his first jazz radio show at Hamilton’s WHC, where he spun tunes and acted as his own engineer. For nearly 60 years, he’s been putting out music and still hosts his long-running show, Sounds of Jazz, on WCNY-FM in Syracuse, N.Y.

By the time he completes his study abroad at Trinity College in Dublin, Julian Perricone ’20 hopes he can say that he learned something every day. He’s taking a range of courses there, including in his major — psychology.

The Hamilton Mathletics team has won the Snow Bowl competition this year, edging out teams from Colgate University, Skidmore College, and St. Lawrence University. Skidmore won the cup last year, so the team is very proud to bring it back to Hamilton.

A chapter by Dean of Students Terry Martinez is included in Crisis, Compassion, and Resiliency in Student Affairs. Her chapter focuses on using a trauma-informed approach when dealing with students in crisis.

Jackson Bedward ’21 spent the summer teaching at the nonprofit Breakthrough Collaborative. Bedward teaches math and science, and on certain days he can teach a subject that is his personal passion. For him, that would be dance.
