Jeff Larson, resident designer and production manager for Theatre, took a group of Theatre students to the Stanley Theater in Utica last week, where they were given an in-depth backstage tour by Tony winning sound designer Scott Lehrer of the upcoming national touring production of “Hello Dolly.”

After an almost four-hour, early-morning bus ride, members of the Shenandoah-Kirkland Initiative (SKI) were glad to arrive at the Akwesasne International Powwow earlier this month. This was their second time attending the annual powwow, which takes place at the A`nowara`ko:wa Arena on the Akwesasne (Mohawk) reservation in Ontario.

The Hamilton College Marathon Canoe Racing Team did it again! Starting on Friday, Sept. 7, the team of 20 competed in the annual Adirondack Canoe Classic, hosted by Mac’s Canoe Livery. The paddlers woke up before the sun rose for two weeks prior to the race to train on Delta Lake in Rome, NY. Before they knew it, they were lined up in Old Forge on Friday morning poised to start the journey.
