Student Employment Office
Although we cannot guarantee employment, interested students are almost always able to find job opportunities on campus during their time at Hamilton, assuming they are flexible about where and when they’re willing to work.
Student Employment Policy for fall 2021:
Student Employment Paperwork Procedures for Fall:
- Employment authorization forms will be accepted via email or supervisors can submit the Employment Authorization Spreadsheet in lieu of the Employment Authorization form. To expedite processing please email the form or spreadsheet to Anna Moskal (firstname.lastname@example.org).
- Employment forms for students working their first on campus job will be completed electronically through DocuSign. In addition, students working their first on campus job are required to stop into Human Resources to provide original documentation for the I-9 form. The original document(s) must be presented to HR, copies are not acceptable.
- If necessary, the New York Wage Notice form will be sent from Human Resources.
Students can locate job opportunities and apply online using Handshake, the Career Center’s online job database. Student accounts have been preloaded and match your Hamilton log in credentials for easy, single sign-on.
Hiring supervisors should direct students interested in a job opportunity within their department to Handshake where students can apply online for job opportunities. Please submit your job posting directly to Student Employment to be posted in the system for students to apply.
