Faculty Support
Conversation Groups
The Language Center collaborates with professors to design prompts and scenarios aligned with the vocabulary, grammar, and cultural concepts covered in the previous three to four weeks of coursework. As a result, classes visit the Language Center once every three to four weeks. This initiative provides experiential, situational, real-world conversational practice that emphasizes culturally appropriate language use. Courses at the 110, 120, 130, and 140 levels are appropriate for participation; higher-level courses may participate by request.
