Services for Language Faculty

-Curriculum Embedded Conversation Groups: The Language Center designs prompts & scenarios with professors which review the vocabulary, grammar, and cultural concepts learned in the previous 3-4 weeks of lecture. Therefore, these groups meet in the Language Center once every 3-4 weeks. This initiative creates experiential, situational, real-world conversational practice using language in culturally appropriate contexts (classes come to the Language Center). Appropriate course levels include 110, 120, 130, and 140 - higher level courses may request.

-Opportunities to learn and practice new language pedagogy

-Research language learning platforms for faculty

-Workshops for faculty to discuss methodology, and best practice
