Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Students seek our support as they pursue their individual interests, which are often foregrounded or influenced by the identities they hold. They come to us with diverse backgrounds and we recognize that marginalized identities may face more significant obstacles. Systemic injustices may include safety concerns, pay inequities, a lack of representation and community, a lack of interaction with the professional world and career knowledge, hesitance to network, and financial barriers.
We believe that all Hamilton students are immensely talented and capable of thriving in whatever career path they choose. We teach students how to leverage a variety of experiences and skills, either unconventional or nontraditional. The Career Center is committed to ensuring students have the best possible experiences within the College and in the workplace. It is our goal to continue weaving DEI throughout all facets of our work.
