  • The September issue of CASE (Council for the Advancement and Support of Education)  CURRENTS magazine includes a feature article written by Director of Interactive Content Strategy Jess Krywosa titled “All in the Hamily.” Subtitled “The true story of what happens when a college stops being polite and protective of its campus’s quirks and starts getting real on social media: The Scroll,” the article provides an overview of this social media aggregator, its development, release and resulting community cultivation and interaction.

Unfortunately, oftentimes information is incorrect, yet people accept it as true.

  • Director of Social Media Jess Krywosa discussed The Scroll at the State University of New York Council for University Advancement (SUNYCUAD) conference held June 5-7 in Melville, N.Y.

  • Hamilton College today introduces “The Scroll.” The Scroll was created by the college’s Communications and Web Services offices to aggregate moderated social media content in one location. This new tool helps tell the complete story of life before, during and after the Hill, with content from the community.

Director of New Media  J.D. Ross was interviewed for an article in The Chronicle of Higher Education titled "Colleges Rehab Their Web Sites for Major Payoffs" that appeared online and  in the publication’s April 18 issue.

  • Director of New Media J.D. Ross was quoted in a New York Times article titled “A Facebook ‘Welcome’ That May Not Be” on Dec. 8. The article, which also appeared on the paper’s “The Choice” blog, described the activities of a firm called Roomsurf.
