  • “Class of 2015,” a longitudinal portrait project comprising photographs and video interviews that examine the development of personal identity among a group of students from Hamilton's class of 2015, will open at the Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art on June 4. Assistant Professor of Art Robert Knight began this series in 2011, when he started teaching at Hamilton. A reception will be held on Thursday, June 4, from 4 to 6 p.m.

  • One of the chief benefits of a liberal arts education, and of Hamilton’s open curriculum in particular, is the opportunity that it affords students to experiment academically and to discover their passions. So it was with Sean Henry-Smith ’15, a student who until the second semester of his first year at Hamilton had never picked up a camera, and who now just graduated from Hamilton with a paid internship at the Light Work center in Syracuse, N.Y.

  • Assistant Professor of Art Rob Knight has a solo exhibition of his project In God's House currently on view at the University of Wisconsin-Madison's Porter Butts Gallery through Dec. 2. The project was supported by the Levitt Center and was developed over the past two summers with Visiting Associate Professor of Religious Studies Brent Plate.
