  • Herb Hand ’90 recently joined the University of Texas football coaching staff as their new co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Former Hamilton College football star Hand, a Westmoreland, N.Y. native and a veteran offensive line coach, has helped coordinate numerous dynamic offenses in his 27 years of coaching.

The lecture will not be rescheduled this semester.

  • Scott Kretchmar, professor of exercise and sport science at Penn State University, will present a lecture, "Explaining Fascination With Sport: The High, The Low, and The in Between,” on Wednesday, April 21, at 8 p.m., in the Science Center's Kennedy Auditorium. The talk is free and open to the public.

  • Jan Boxill, director of the Parr Center for Ethics at the University of North Carolina, will speak on “The Moral Significance of Sport” on Wednesday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Dwight Lounge in the Bristol Campus Center at Hamilton College. The talk is free and open to the public.
