While Hamilton students are on spring break, science faculty opened their labs to welcome third graders from Myles Elementary School in New Hartford for some hands-on learning.

Six Hamilton students are spending their Spring Break in Kyoto, Japan, as part of a Japanese Studies class with Professor Kyoko Omori. The students spend their mornings taking Japanese lessons at Doshisha University and their afternoons visiting famous landmarks throughout Kyoto and Southern Japan. Hamilton Mock Trial ended its 2016-17 competitive season at the Lancaster, Pa., Opening Round Championship Series (ORCS) competition on March 17 to 19. Hamilton was one of 24 teams at the competition, and only six teams advance to the national competition later this spring. Ultimately, Hamilton placed 7th, narrowly missing the opportunity to compete at the national level.
