Brent Plate discussed the disappearance of churches in Upstate New York and across the nation with alumnus David Chanatry ’80 during Chanatry’s report, “Another Church Shuttered In MohawkValley,” broadcast on public radio station WAMC on Feb. 12. Plate was quoted earlier this week in a Washington Times article titled “Hollywood films a testament to renewed interest in Bible stories.”

  • George Taliaferro’s journey with jazz started in his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio, continued on the Hill, and has led him to the National Jazz Museum in Harlem. A participant in Hamilton’s New York City Program this semester, Taliaferro ’15 builds upon his interests as an intern for the renowned organization. Taliaferro’s internship with the National Jazz Museum continues the strong legacy of jazz connections to the College.

  • Always a highlight of FebFest, the Mr. Hamilton competition attracted a large crowd to the Annex on Feb. 10.  Mr. Co-op, Kyle Thomas Burnham ’15, was crowned Mr. Hamilton from a field of 10 contestants.  Nearly $1000 was raised at the event to benefit Alternative Spring Break.
