The Hamilton College Hill Singers, directed by Professor G. Roberts Kolb, led a Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols on Dec. 5 in the Hamilton College Chapel. Organ music and accompaniment was provided by Professor of Music Sam Pellman.

Hamilton’s Mock Trial team is following up one of its best finishes in program history with another strong start to the season. The team began the season by finishing second at the Colgate Classic Tournament on Nov. 6-7. Hamilton’s team faced teams from Cornell University, Villanova University, Canisius College and Colgate University. Noah Bishop ‘11 won an outstanding attorney award while Lennie Specht ‘11 and Ashley Vanicek ’13 both won outstanding witness awards.

Daniel Feinberg '12 spent the fall semester as a student in the Semester in Environmental Science, in Woods Hole, Mass. The first Hamilton student to participate in the program, he has been measuring the lifetime of Permeable Reactive Barriers, relatively affordable systems that can remove nitrate pollution from groundwater. Here he describes his experience in the program.
