Former men's basketball coach Murphy named to 2026 Basketball Hall of Fame ballot
Former Hamilton College Head Men's Basketball Coach Tom Murphy was selected to be placed on the ballot for the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday afternoon, Dec. 19 when the Class of 2026 nominee announcement was made during an NBA Today broadcast on ESPN2.
From Collecting Skills to Curating Careers
Professor of Art Robert Knight and Michael Shapiro ’71, director emeritus of Atlanta’s High Museum of Art, first taught From Collecting to Curating five years ago, but it has returned this year with a twist. The course is divided into three parts with one new goal: to curate an exhibition at the Munson in Utica, N.Y.

Enzo Battaglia ’26 entered Columbia Law School this fall through the highly selective Accelerated Interdisciplinary Legal Education (AILE) program, which permits students to earn both a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton and a juris doctor degree from Columbia after three years of study at each institution.

The Dec. 9 piece chronicled Tepper’s exploration of his and Rand’s views on capitalism via the AI app, Claude.
