  • Professor of Law and Public Policy at Suffolk University Alasdair Roberts will present a lecture, “Government Secrecy in the Age of Wikileaks,” on Thursday, April 7, at 4:15 p.m., in the Dwight Lounge at Bristol Center. The lecture is part of the Levitt Center’s 2010-11 Speakers Series on security and is free and open to the public.  

  • Two groups of local third-grade students recently enjoyed some hands-on science learning with the help of Hamilton’s science faculty. For about 20 years, Professor of Biology Dave Gapp has organized “Science Exploration Days” which bring classes of elementary school students to Hamilton for guided tours and short lessons in various areas of science.

  • Connor Brown ’12 and Julia Litzky ’12 have been named Barry M. Goldwater Scholars for the 2011-12 academic year. They are among 275 scholars from across the U.S. to receive the Goldwater, the premier national undergraduate award in the fields of mathematics, the natural sciences and engineering.

  • Students from the Hamilton Mathletics team won first place in the annual Snow Bowl competition, edging out teams from Colgate University, Skidmore College and Saint Lawrence University. This year's team score of 98 points is Hamilton's highest score on record (records date back to 1993).
