  • The 475 members of Hamilton’s Class of 2019 got a glimpse of the area and at the same time helped area non-profit agencies when they participated in the 8th annual Hamilton Serves on Aug. 26.  Students spent the morning volunteering at one of 43 local non-profit agencies.

  • Hamilton’s 39 January admits and six transfer students participated in Hamilton Serves on Saturday, Jan. 17, as part of their orientation. They visited seven area non-profit agencies  for a morning of service.

  • All 470 members of Hamilton’s Class of 2018 got a peek at the surrounding community when they participated in the 7th annual Hamilton Serves on Aug. 27.  Students spent the morning volunteering at one of 61 local non-profit agencies.  

  • The sixth annual Hamilton Serves took place on Wednesday, Aug. 28, with all 492 members of the Class of 2017 and new transfer students going out to volunteer at 57 community organizations. Hamilton Serves began as an Orientation activity in 2008 with the class of 2012.

  • The fifth annual Hamilton Serves took place on Wednesday, Aug. 29, with the entire first-year class and new transfer students going out to volunteer at 60 community organizations.

  • The January session of Hamilton Serves took place on Saturday, Jan. 14, with 41 students who are beginning studies on campus this week volunteering at six local non-profit organizations.

  • It was an anniversary of sorts. To COOP director Amy James, 2011 marks the year that every class of Hamilton students has participated in Hamilton Serves. The Orientation program began in 2008 and takes the students to volunteer at local non-profit agencies for the morning before classes start.

  • The fourth annual Hamilton Serves took place on Wednesday, Aug. 24, with the entire first-year class and new transfer students going out to volunteer at 61 community organizations. Amy James, COOP director, noted this year was a milestone as now “every student on campus will have gone through the program.”

  • The Corporation for National and Community Service named Hamilton as one of the colleges included on the President’s Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll for exemplary service efforts and service to America’s communities. The announcement was made on Feb. 25.
