ISS First Fridays Health Insurance Q&A

During the last semester, it was brought to Omobonike Bonike's attention that international students had a lack of understanding about the benefits and intricacies of the MVP healthcare plan offered by the college. To address this concern, the First Friday of March was organized to facilitate a conversation between international students and the MVP representative at our college, Amber Denny.

We are thrilled to report that the event received an overwhelmingly positive response from the international students in attendance! The Days-Massolo Center provided a safe space for students to have all their inquiries regarding the insurance answered, and Amber Denny and the health center representatives were present and eager to respond to the students' questions.

The catering provided added to the positive experience, and students expressed feeling supported by the event. Some students even shared that the event was directly responding to their concerns about the insurance plan. Many expressed that all their questions were answered and that they were given guidance on how to navigate any future queries.
