Digital Collections
Digital collections have been an important part of the information landscape since Project Gutenberg’s first e-book in 1971. The World Wide Web’s debut two decades later sparked an exponential growth of digital content—some of it free, much of it not.
Today, Hamilton’s library provides access to significantly more books and periodicals in electronic form than it does in print. The library is also actively engaged in making our own unique collections freely available online, with more than 25,000 items posted to date.
Hamilton Digital Collections
Fifty collections featuring more than 25,000 digitized manuscripts, printed works, visual materials, audio/video materials, and ephemera from our Special Collections and College Archives.
The Hamilton Commons
The Hamilton Commons is an archive of scholarly and creative works by faculty, students and staff.
Other Library Collections
In addition to our own collections, the library provides access to digital resources from across the globe. Ask a librarian for assistance with finding the resources you need.
