ZoomInfo Technologies Inc. is unrelated to Zoom Video Communications Inc., the video teleconferencing solution Hamilton College uses.
This is a legitimate company that is providing notice of processing of personal data. ZoomInfo is required by law in some jurisdictions to provide notification of data processing, and provide such notices to all individuals included in our database, even where not required, in order to promote transparency and individual control over personal information.
ZoomInfo collects data, including personal data, to sell to other businesses to use in their marketing. ZoomInfo is a legitimate company; be cautious with installing any plugins or software from ZoomInfo as it will seek to download information on you as part of their business model to sell for marketing.
