LITS Couper Classroom Scheduling Guidelines:

The LITS classroom is a technologically enhanced classroom space on the 1st floor in Burke Library. In this space, LITS staff offers specialized workshops and other instruction in support of teaching, learning and research throughout the year, Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The LITS classroom is a space managed and used by LITS staff.

This space is not available for regular semester-long class reservations, but may have availability for faculty for one-off class sessions or workshops. Faculty who would like to use this space during class days/hours (Monday - Friday, 8 am to 4 pm), but who will not employ LITS support or services, will be able to reserve this space 8 days in advance of desired date. Faculty are encouraged to reach out to their Research Library liaison who will make the reservation on their behalf (reservation policy) if the space is available.

To reserve the Couper Classroom for a study group during evenings and weekends, consult the study room reservations page.

Also, if a Hamilton community member wishes to hold a class or event in Burke Library, please also consider the All Night Reading Room, which can easily be reserved over 25 Live.

2nd Floor Classrooms Scheduling Guidelines:

On the 2nd floor of Burke Library there are four classroom spaces  (209, 211, 213, 215) managed by Kristin Friedel, College Registrar. Faculty interested in having their regular classes in these spaces should directly contact the Registrar.
