The College graphic identity is an integral element of our messaging, whether placed on a website, a brochure, a piece of stationery, a uniform, an email message or a sign. When used consistently as a visual component of College communications, it strengthens the recognition of the College and reinforces Hamilton’s history and values.

The marks that comprise our graphic identity are trademarked and their use must comply with the standards set forth in this style guide. Always use official graphics files; permission is not granted to alter any of the graphics.

Institutional Graphics

Institutional Wordmark

The institutional wordmark is the primary wordmark for Hamilton and may also be used for College communications.

Institutional Logo

The College institutional logo featuring the distinctive Chapel cupola with its quill weather vane represents the architectural presence of this historical building and the College’s commitment to writing. The cupola logo is reserved for the president's office and alumni communications only.

College Seal

The College seal is reserved for communications from the College president and for special College events such as Commencement. It should never be used as a graphic signature for the College — the institutional logo should be used.

Athletics Graphics

Athletics Block H

The block H is the primary graphic for athletics and is restricted to athletics use only. This includes use by varsity sports, club sports, intramural sports and wellness initiatives.

Athletics Wordmark

This wordmark has been customized for Hamilton Athletics. Official graphics files should always be used.

Athletics logo

The primary athletics logo has been customized for Hamilton athletics. It is a lockup comprised of the Hamilton athletics block H and wordmark.
