Early Decision Checklist


ED1 Deadline: November 15
ED2 Deadline: January 1*

  1. Common Application or Coalition Application, including Hamilton's member-specific questions
  2. Official high school transcript
  3. Official 1st quarter (or trimester) senior grades for ED1 applicants*
  4. Mid-year senior grades (or 1st trimester) for ED2 applicants (and ED1 admits)**
  5. Standardized Test Scores on official high school transcript or from testing agency (Note: All Standardized Testing must be completed by November of senior year for ED1, and December for ED2)
  6. Interview (strongly recommended)
  7. Information for Financial Aid Applicants

*Early Decision Round 2 candidates must apply by January 1.  A student may convert a regular decision application to Early Decision Round 2 any time up until midnight on February 1 by submitting the Early Decision agreement form.  Students will receive notification of Hamilton’s admission decision by February 15.

**We recognize these may not be received by the application deadline but we will need to receive the most recently available senior grades before rendering a decision.
