From Middle School to High School - What to Expect and How to Build Success with Paula Clancy ’85 and Sean Clancy ’85

4/8/2021, 7:00 PMVIRTUAL

Please join Paula Clancy ’85 and Sean Clancy ’85 as they explore how students can best transition to high school and beyond. Topics will include academic success, social-emotional health, athletics, high school fit, parental anxieties and challenges. Paula and Sean have worked with students and families transitioning to both high school and college for more than twenty years.

Sean has experience as an adolescent mental health therapist, a transition to high school program coordinator, a school counselor, a college admissions counselor, a summer school principal, a social studies teacher, a head varsity football coach, and as a girls and boys high school basketball, baseball and volleyball coach.

Paula has experience in residential positions working with students at Princeton University and The Lawrenceville School. She has been a dorm head and academic advisor working with high school freshmen for 10 years, coordinated transition programming, coached both boys baseball and girls softball on the high school level, and has extensive experience guiding parents through their student's transition to high school.

There is no cost to participate in virtual events. However, the suggested donation amount is $10 “Alexander Hamilton” to support the Hamilton Fund.
