Second ActsRx: Courage, Confidence, and Flexibility with Jo Pitkin K’78 and Rachel Dickinson K’78

4/27/2023, 7:00 PMVIRTUAL

From founding the college literary magazine Red Weather to taking part in the first Special K rehearsals in the loft of Kirkland Dorm, Jo Pitkin K’78 and Rachel Dickinson K’78 have clearly tapped into the Kirkland ethos of exploration and innovation.

After devising their own career paths in the wake of the uncertainty created by Kirkland's merger, these classmates have continued to forge new paths in the second chapters of their lives. From writing to painting, grieving to caregiving, instructing to mentoring, Jo and Rachel offer their reflections on what lessons they learned at Kirkland and how their education inspired the courage and confidence to tackle personal and professional challenges. Please set aside some time and join them for a salon-style Zoom chat.

Cost to register for your first event is $10, which goes directly to funding and expanding the virtual programming series, while a portion is contributed to the Hamilton Fund to support teaching and learning on College Hill.

Did you know you know you can become a Virtual Event Pass (VEP) holder? After you have paid the one-time $10 registration for the first event you attend, you can then register to attend all subsequent virtual events for free until June 30, 2023! Pay once. Attend unlimited. With the Virtual Event Pass you’re supporting Hamilton and staying connected to your Hamily. It’s a win-win!
