Lynn Kanter, a creative writing major at Kirkland, is the author of three novels and works as a writer for national organizations dedicated to racial and social justice. She lives with her wife in the Washington, DC area.

Danielle Nelson, H’16

Danielle Nelson is a diversity, equity and inclusion strategist, specializing in social impact and talent strategy. Currently, she's a Social Impact Program Manager at Ripple, working with over 50 global university partners to advance the adoption and innovation of blockchain and cryptocurrency for the next generation.

Morolake Thompson H’14

Morolake Thompson majored in Sociology and was raised in NYC. She lives in Colorado and works in tech as a customer support strategy manager.

Julie Weinstein K’75

Julie Weinstein graduated in creative writing and went on to get an M.A. in Counseling Psychology and a M.S. in Global Affairs. For many years, she worked as a supervising social worker for the LA County Department of Children and Family Services. She currently teaches adult and child development at LaGuardia Community College.
