Colleen Nester Thieme

Colleen Nester Thieme has been a fitness professional for over 25 years. She is the owner and trainer of her own fitness studio Thieme Fitness Works, located in the New Hartford Shopping Center in New Hartford, New York.

Colleen has been training at Hamilton College by appointment only since 2005. She specializes in functional training techniques, core strength, stability, agility, balance, and the proper forms for stretching.

She does a full assessment on her clients, making sure there are no muscle imbalances that need to be corrected. Also she completes a full body composition calculation.

Among her many years of experience, Colleen has taken the initiative to further her knowledge and skills by going to various workshops, and becoming certified by many prestigious exercise associations. These certifications include: American Council on Exercise (ACE), National Exercise Trainers Association (NETA), and the Aerobic and Fitness Association of America (AFFA).

Hello Faculty and Staff! My name is Jeff Pierce, I am the new Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach at Hamilton College. With the help of Fitness Center and Campus Wellness Director David Thompson and Head Strength & Conditioning Coach Patrick Basil, MS, CSCS, USA-W, we are providing a personal training program at the Blood Fitness Center.
