  • Karibu: An Evening of East African Food, Art, & Entertainment will be hosted by Women's Studies 332: Tanzania Field Study on Thursday, April 16, from 5-8 p.m. in the Annex. The fundraiser will feature Adanfo African Ensemble from Ghana, dance performances, art auction, and East African inspired buffet.

  • Katheryn Doran, associate professor of philosophy, participated in a podcast with Randy Cohen, author of The New York Times Magazine Ethicist column (4/16/09). Each week in the podcast Cohen answers readers' questions on ethical issues. The podcasts are broadcast on The New York Times Web site, nyt.com.  Doran read this week's questions and was identified as a philosophy professor at Hamilton College.
