Field hockey and women's hockey all-American Michaela Giuttari '20 and men's basketball all-American Kena Gilmour '20 received the 2020 Jack B. Riffle Awards as Hamilton College Director of Athletics Jon Hind '80 revealed this year's senior varsity athlete award winners via a live video announcement on Friday, May 22.

Kayla Self ’21, a member of the women’s volleyball team, recently attended the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) 2019 convention in Orlando, Fla. The NCAA is a member-led organization dedicated to the well-being and lifelong success of college athletes. Hamilton is a member of the NCAA’s Division III.

More than 140 Hamilton community members took part in the 5th annual AK5K on Oct. 8 at SUNY Poly in Utica. The charity run and walk was in honor of Alexandra Kogut, a 2012 New Hartford Senior High School graduate who was killed inside her dorm room at SUNY Brockport in 2012.

Hamilton’s women’s volleyball team raised more than $1,000 for its 2015 Dig Pink campaign. Dig Pink is an initiative of the Side-Out Foundation. Funds raised for Side-Out enable scientists to continue their research studying patient tumors to determine the best treatment for patients with stage 4 (metastatic) breast cancer, the most advanced form of the disease and the least funded area of research.
