Field hockey and women's hockey all-American Michaela Giuttari '20 and men's basketball all-American Kena Gilmour '20 received the 2020 Jack B. Riffle Awards as Hamilton College Director of Athletics Jon Hind '80 revealed this year's senior varsity athlete award winners via a live video announcement on Friday, May 22.

Kayla Self ’21, a member of the women’s volleyball team, recently attended the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) 2019 convention in Orlando, Fla. The NCAA is a member-led organization dedicated to the well-being and lifelong success of college athletes. Hamilton is a member of the NCAA’s Division III.

More than 140 Hamilton community members took part in the 5th annual AK5K on Oct. 8 at SUNY Poly in Utica. The charity run and walk was in honor of Alexandra Kogut, a 2012 New Hartford Senior High School graduate who was killed inside her dorm room at SUNY Brockport in 2012.

Erin Glaser, head women’s volleyball coach and associate professor of physical education, was a co-presenter on Dec. 17 at the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) National Convention in Omaha, Neb.

Hamilton’s women’s volleyball team raised more than $1,000 for its 2015 Dig Pink campaign. Dig Pink is an initiative of the Side-Out Foundation. Funds raised for Side-Out enable scientists to continue their research studying patient tumors to determine the best treatment for patients with stage 4 (metastatic) breast cancer, the most advanced form of the disease and the least funded area of research.

A total of 61 Hamilton College student-athletes have earned a spot on the 2015 NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team.

Hamilton College's Erin Donahue '18 posted 14 kills and 14 digs but the Continentals absorbed a four-set NESCAC loss against the Connecticut College Camels at Hamilton's Margaret Bundy Scott Field House on Saturday afternoon.

The Hamilton College volleyball team opened its final weekend with a loss to visiting Tufts in a NESCAC match Friday night at Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. The Jumbos swept the match, winning 25-14, 25-16, 25-21.

Hamilton College won two out of three matches at the 2015 Hall of Fame Tournament at Smith College and Amherst College on Friday night and Saturday.

The Hamilton College volleyball team snapped a six-match losing streak with a sweep of visiting Utica in non-league action Monday at the Margaret Bundy Scott Field House. The Continentals (4-15 overall) won by scores of 25-6, 25-19, 25-14.
