We encourage you to be creative in how you seek your own wellness, and are proud to offer resources and additional services to help you on your individual journey. Registered Dietitian Lela NiemetzQuarantine Pantry

Mondays & Tuesdays at 5:30 p.m.

Every Wednesday at 5:30 p.m. during the Fall semester, our registered dietitian, Lela Niemetz, will be offering live cooking demonstrations from her home kitchen at her farm. The first 30 people who sign up for each week will get a FREE box of farm fresh ingredients. Learn more

Thursdays at 7 p.m.Cookie Pantry

Every Thursday at 7 p.m. during the Fall semester, join Senior Brigit Humphreys as she guides you through baking different kinds of cookies and desserts! Brigit will guide you step by step in mixing up the batter and popping it in the oven, and then the munching begins! The first 30 people who sign up for each week will get a FREE box of ingredients. 

Mindful Music

Mindful Tuesdays & Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m. and Fridays at 4:30 p.m.

Don't want to try talk therapy but still looking for something healing? This individual workshop can help you focus on your mental health through songwriting- no experience needed! This is offered by Anne Buckle, a Nashville songwriter. Anne grew up learning to play music from her cousin June Carter Cash and cousin-in-law Johnny Cash, and each week she will work with you individually! Learn more

Sound HealingSound Healing

Fridays at 12:30 p.m.

Beginning April 9, our Sound Healer and Licensed Massage Therapist Samantha Donaldson will be offering our regular sound healing offerings on Fridays. Pop in to relax and enjoy sounds that offer healing. Learn more

Breathwork Sessions

Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m.

Beginning April 7, Samantha will also be offering a series of breathwork sessions on Wednesdays at 8:30 a.m. Breathwork- or pranayama- offers techniques for channeling and directing your energy by consciously controlling your breath. Each session involves slowing the breath down, speeding it up, retaining the breath for given durations, and manipulating the nostrils to direct the flow of energy within the body channels while calming the nervous system. Depending on the practice, breathwork can leave you feeling energized, focused, calm, and/or deeply relaxed.

Wellness Room

Feeling burned out? Anxious about classes? Need to take some time to tune in to your body and emotions? Recharge in the Wellness Room! This room has customized software that will let you monitor your heart rate reactivity and walk you through a series of breathing exercises designed to help you relax and focus, as well as a state of the art Massage Chair! We are pleased to be able to offer weekly acupuncture sessions with licensed Acupuncturist Mackay Rippey, LAc, MAc. We use a Community Acupuncture model, which employs a unique approach to healing in a small group format. Treatment protocols are individually tailored so that healing occurs simultaneously at all levels of body, mind and spirit. Learn More

Sound Healing

Looking for a unique healing modality? Want to find a space to relax? Try Sound Healing! Our Sound Healing practitioner, Samantha Donaldson, offers sessions to help balance and integrate the subtle energies in your body and help shift you into a state of deep relaxation and healing from within. Weighted Blankets

If you have anxiety and would like to try a weighted blanket, let us know! We have blankets to loan out to you. Weighted blankets have been shown to relieve anxiety and provide a feeling of safety and relaxation. If you'd like to try one, please call our Office Manager at 315-859-4340.

Happy Lamps

If you suffer from Seasonal Affective Disorder, or simply get down during times of less sunlight, you might benefit from a full-spectrum Happy Lamp! We have Happy Lamps available for loan. They have been demonstrated to increase the level of vitamin D in your system, which is linked to depression. If you'd like to try a lamp, give our Office Manager a call at 315-859-4340.

Art Therapy Space

Looking for a place to relax and unwind? Need a space to express yourself creatively? You can utilize our art therapy space to breathe, create, connect with yourself, and increase your resilience against the stress of a packed schedule. Lean more.
