Prescription Policy

MEDICATION

The Hamilton College Student Health Center does not have a full-service pharmacy and cannot fill prescriptions written by clinicians outside the Center. The Center does stock a limited selection of commonly prescribed medications to dispense at the time of service if needed.

If prescription medicine is recommended by a Hamilton clinician students have the option to:

  • Pick up the prescription at a local pharmacy of their choice
  • Order the medication from CVS or Kinney Drugs in Clinton for free delivery to the health center after an account has been set up with the pharmacy.
