The Robert J. Durkee Memorial Fund

This fund was established by the Class of 1936 in memory of Robert J. Durkee, a member of that class who passed away a year after graduation.
Robert Durkee was a member of the College’s fencing team, and a talented public speaker. His skills in speaking and writing earned him recognition as the McKinney Prize recipient for debate. This fund provides for the purchase of books for the library at the Librarian’s discretion.
