This fund was established by Beulah M. Amidon in memory of Charles F. Amidon, Class of 1882.

Charles C. Adler, Jr. was a professor of European history at Hamilton College from 1959-70.

This fund was established in 1985 by numerous donors upon the death of Clancy D. Connell, Class of 1912.

This fund was established as a Class of 1890 memorial to benefit the library through supporting the purchase of books in the department of political science. George H. Minor and Joseph D. Ibbotson were their class’ lead donors.

The Class of 1897 Book Fund was established to support the purchase of books on South American history.

David Maldwyn Ellis, Class of 1938, established this fund in 1972. He sought to preserve “the Library’s reputation of being one of the best small college libraries in the country.” Book purchases supported by this fund are intended to be in the areas of history, with an emphasis on American history.

This book fund was established in 1979, in memory of Edith Nash Connell, wife of Clancy D. Connell, Class of 1912.

In his Will dated 1945, Dr. Edward Fitch, Class of 1886, established this fund to support the purchase of books in the field of Greek studies including language, literature, art and history.
