Course Description:

What constitutes a good and happy human life? Are we essentially selfish or are we capable of love and altruism? Where does morality come from? Are we responsible for our actions? If so, to whom? How can we know which answers are correct? Is knowledge even possible? We learn how to apply the fundamentals of logic and argumentation to classical philosophical problems as we conduct a search for answers to some of life’s most pressing questions.
