Dean of FAculty grant activities fund
Hamilton College supports the ongoing engagement of its faculty members as researchers in their disciplines because we believe that our students are well served by the insights these faculty members can bring to their classrooms and by the awareness of contemporary developments in the field that these faculty members can share with their students.
Requests for research support should be submitted using the online form prior to these deadlines:
April 1, for research activities that involve expenditures to be made between May 15 and August 15 (i.e., summer research). Funding commitments expire on the following May 15 and will need to be renewed if the project remains incomplete.
July 15, for research activities that involve expenditures to be made between August 15 and December 15 (i.e., fall research). Funding commitments expire on the following July 1 and will need to be renewed if the project remains incomplete.
November 1, for research activities that involve expenditures to be made between December 15 and May 15 (i.e., spring research). Funding commitments expire on the following December 15 and will need to be renewed if the project remains incomplete.
